Zusammenfassung

When Brian Storm leaves his ex-wife, he must navigate the aftermath of the trauma he experienced during his marriage. But after he puts himself back out there, he quickly learns that the online dating scene has changed drastically. He falls victim to catfishes, scammers, and bots as he searches for true love. But being a hopeless romantic, he is reluctant to give up that easily.

Brian gets his heart broken multiple times and soon realizes just how damaged he has become. This causes Brian to seek professional help, which opens his eyes to his erratic behavior and some deep personal issues. But before Brian can work on himself, he falls head over heels for a Thai immigrant living here in the USA. Their relationship seems almost perfect, but then something horrific happens and Brian is unsure if he could ever forgive her.

Facing jail time for what she has done, Brian's girlfriend flees the country and moves back to Thailand. Going against his friend's and family's advice, Brian gives her a second chance and makes plans for her to move back to the USA once the dust has settled. However, this isn't a fairytale where happy endings are guaranteed. This is real life, where things never go according to plan.

¿Brian Storm is a Philadelphia-born author, recovering addict, and passionate storyteller who believes in the power of sharing personal experiences to inspire, educate, and help others. His writing journey began with his first memoir, The Struggle, which he wrote with the hope that sharing his experience, strength, and hope would help others facing their own challenges. Drawing from his personal struggles, recovery journey, and life experiences, Brian approaches his writing with honesty, vulnerability, and a desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of his readers.Since publishing his first memoir, Brian has expanded his writing into children's literature, authoring both a children's novel and a children's picture book. His fourth book, HOPELESS: Tragedy, Trauma, and True Love, returns to deeply personal storytelling, exploring the emotional aftermath of a troubled marriage, the dangers of online dating, heartbreak, betrayal, and the complicated search for genuine love.Through his books, Brian hopes to remind readers that no matter how difficult life becomes, there is always an opportunity for growth, healing, and a new beginning. His work reflects his belief that even our most painful experiences can serve a greater purpose when we use them to help others.
