Oswin Newton Kakumanu is a senior programme and project management professional with a career spanning Accenture, Booz Allen Hamilton, Deloitte, Novartis, and Health New Zealand. He most recently served as PMO Manager for the New Dunedin Hospital digital infrastructure programme, leading programme governance on one of New Zealand's most complex health infrastructure investments. He holds a Doctor of Business Administration from the University of Otago, a Master of Business (Finance) from Lincoln University, a Master of Applied Management from the Southern Institute of Technology, and a Master of Business Administration from Murdoch University. He has been PMP certified since 2009, and holds an extensive portfolio of further programme and portfolio governance credentials, including PgMP, PRINCE2, MSP, and MoP. He is a registered Better Business Cases Practitioner and Change Management Practitioner, with additional APMG accreditations spanning digital transformation and IT service management. He is a published author with Routledge/Taylor & Francis and Scopus, and remains an ardent learner - someone who treats every credential as a starting point rather than a destination, and who is as comfortable in a doctoral seminar as in a hospital boardroom. He lives in Dunedin, New Zealand.
