Practical holiness is about the Christian leader who both moves forward in ministry by God's help and takes all steps necessary before God to make sure the things gained are not lost. Understanding this book is about our part in the whole scheme of life before God. God gives us a positional righteousness and continues making us Christlike while we learn and yield to him in the process. We must follow God in our advancement, yielding to him and guarding the deposit he has made in us. This requires listening, caring, and having responsible obedience.
