Vicki Berger Erwin is a veteran of the publishing industry, working in various capacities including sales, book distribution, and as the co-owner with husband, Jim, of a bookstore in St. Charles, Missouri. She is the author of more than thirty books in varied genres: picture books, middle-grade novels, local histories and true crime. James W. Erwin practiced law in St. Louis for thirty-seven years. He is a Civil War enthusiast and the author of nine books on local history. This is their fifth book together.
