A resident immigrant from the island Of Barbados, the author came to faith in Christ as a member of the Church of God in Christ (COGIC) Pentecostal denomination, in 2002. He has studied at satellite campuses and on-line with Calvary Chapel Bible College from 2005 to present. This book is the culmination of his experiences and impressions as musician, student, deacon, teacher, superintendent, friend and observer within the American Christian communities. He seeks to highlight some of the influences American history, politics, and culture exert on believers. One impression is an implicit thrust toward one or the other of America's dominant political ideologies. A thrust, as experienced by the author, that sometimes by-passes a true biblical world-view.The author invites, and looks forward to amicable discourse of the book's subject matter.
