D. W. Landreaux is a retired U.S. Air Force colonel, longtime public servant, husband, father, and grandfather. Born in Shreveport, Louisiana, he writes Southern family fiction shaped by memory, identity, faith, service, resilience, and the truths carried across generations. The Name They Gave Me is his debut novel. He is the founder of Landreaux Cypress Press and is currently working on his next book. He lives in Virginia with his wife.
