Britt Crow-Miller is a grown-up who still runs outside barefoot to marvel when she sees fireflies in her backyard. She is the author of several nature-themed books for children, including World of Rot; Thank You, Old Oak; and Living Stars. Britt is also a professor and environmental educator. She lives in Western Massachusetts with her three children, partner, and a flock of chickens.

Josée Masse is an author and illustrator from Montreal. She enjoys spending time drawing and looking out the window at the birds eating their food and the squirrels stealing it! Her favorite things to illustrate are plants, forests, and magical scenes. Josée is the author-illustrator of Le jardin de madame Héléna, published in her native French, and she is the illustrator of numerous picture books, including Wonderfully Wild, the bestselling volumes one and two of The Care and Keeping of You, and the critically acclaimed books of ?reverso poems,?
