I'm Paris Harrington,36, and my life reads like a tightly wound story with new chapters every few years. I joined the Marine Corps in 2007 out of Jackson MS and retired medically in 2021 after three back surgeries, with two deployments and 18 countries visited. A moment at the Pentagon sparked my writing: a weekend tale of misadventure felt like it could be a book or a TV show, so I began writing and never stopped. Education has always been a compass for me. I earned an associate's degree at University Maryland Global Campus, a bachelor's degree from Saint Martin University , and a master's degree from Alabama A&M while balancing demanding responsibilities and a growing family. I achieved a rare distinction, an unblemished 4.0 GPA in the public administration program at Alabama A&M. I am currently a PhD Student at Liberty University for Public Administration. I'm married to Sasha, with a daughter, and we've moved seven times, each place a page in our story.
