Raised in Hot Springs, Arkansas, and now based in the Washington, D.C. area, he is a filmmaker, novelist, and U.S. Army veteran whose work moves between Southern Gothic horror, historical fiction, folklore, and the spiritual traditions of the African diaspora. He is the founder of Blerd Corner, a creative studio and publishing imprint built on a simple principle: own the work, tell the truth, and trust the reader.
