Currently living in Tulsa, OK, Ann began writing at the age of 10. She has written poems, plays, novels, and memoirs, as well as children's books. How Rudolph Got His Red Nose is her third children's book. She has a Master's in English Literature and has worked professionally as both a social worker and corporate trainer. She has passionately rescued dogs and cats for 30 years, but Toby was one of her favorite rescues. When she is not working, or writing, or rescuing more dogs, she likes to hang out with her family and "tests" her children's stories on her nieces, nephews, great-nephews and nieces, and great-great nieces and nephews. She welcomes readers' comments and/or feedback at AnnMcKinney@Children Stories.com.
