Adil Tonga, PhD, is a researcher at the Diyarbakir Plant Protection Research Institute, Türkiye. His focus lies in exploring the intricate interactions within trophic levels, investigating the relationships among plants, pests, and their natural enemies. A notable focus of his research involves selective insecticides that contribute to our understanding of the ecotoxicology of egg parasitoids, which helps to assess the compatibility of the insecticides within integrated pest management strategies. Adnan Shakeel, PhD, is a molecular plant-nematode researcher at the Central University of Kashmir, Ganderbal, India. Dr. Shakeel has undertaken postdoctoral training at Guangxi University (China) and CSIR-IIIM (India). He has published more than 30 articles along with book chapters and conference abstracts. He has been awarded the Inspire Faculty Award by the DST of the Govt. of India and Young Scientist Associate Award in Plant Nematology by the Agricultural & Environmental Technology Development Society (AETDS). Nasheeman Ashraf, PhD, is a plant molecular biologist at the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (CSIR-IIIM), Srinagar, India. Dr. Ashraf has been mainly working on the metabolite and apocarotenoid pathways of saffron plants in response to biotic and abiotic factors, including fungi, bacteria, nematodes, and endophytes. She has published more than 30 research articles in scientific journals. She has also received two international/national patents for her research and has received several international awards for her work.
