Maribel Cahill was born in the Philippines to a prominent, well-loved family of medical professionals. Her father was a doctor, and her mother was an anesthesia tech. Due to martial law in the Philippines, her family of twelve moved to the U.S. in the 1970s. In the U.S., Maribel found her own way spiritually and through her beloved profession of Nursing. In the early 80s, she serendipitously met and married local entrepreneur Bill Cahill. Together, they have six children as well as a large and close-knit extended family. This memoir is Maribel's first book.
