Topher Olsen was born and raised in Springfield, Illinois in 1990. After studying at UW Madison, he permanently moved to Wisconsin where he now resides with his wife and two daughters. A literary scholar, he works as an English teacher by day and writes fiction by night like some lesser superhero. The Governor's Crown is his first published work.
