Dr U S Dixit is Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati. He obtained his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee in 1987. He obtained his M.Tech. and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, in 1993 and 1998, respectively. He has more than two decades of experience in carrying out research in the area of metal forming and machining. Apart from FEM, he uses fuzzy set theory and neural networks in his research. Before taking up a research career, he worked as a machine tool designer at HMT Ltd. Pinjore, India. He has published 115 peer-reviewed international journal papers and published 14 books. Dr. Santosh Kumar is the senior most Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi. He is a Fellow IE (India) and presently he is HOD of Mechanical Eng. Department. He has been Chairman and Coordinator of the Teaching-Learning Cell at IIT (BHU). He has received his UG & Master's degree from NIT Allahabad and Ph.D. degrees from IIT Kanpur. He has published nearly 110 international and national journal papers. He has completed fifteen sponsored research projects, and four projects are in progress. He has developed four new machines from scratch for government organizations, out of which three are patented. He has received many awards. Dr. Srihari Dodla is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi. He obtained his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Sri Venkateshwara University College of Engineering, Tirupati 2009. He obtained his MTech. from the Applied Mechanical Department at IIT Madras in 2011 and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg, Germany, in 2015, respectively. He has ten years of research experience in carrying outresearch in the area of multiscale material modelling, texture evolution, computational mechanics, composites design, and crystal plasticity. He has published more than 20 peer-reviewed international journal papers and conference papers. Dr. Lakshay is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. His research area includes Tourism management, and Crowd disaster management, etc. He has published 15 peer reviewed international journal papers and conference papers.
