Helen J. Slaughter, a Chicago-based author and child care provider, writes faith-based children's books to inspire young minds and promote bullying awareness. A graduate of the Joseph Business School and Triton College. Helen is the proud mother of four, with 21 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She is working to launch Mothers' Beneath My Wings, a nonprofit supporting homeless youth. To God be the glory!
