This book reviews the history of ecological conservation and environmental protection in China starting in 1978, summarizes the lessons learned from that experience, and analyzes the current obstacles and challenges.
Pan Jiahua holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Cambridge. He is a Member of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), and Director, Research Fellow, and Doctoral Supervisor at the Institute for Urban and Environmental Studies, CASS.
Zhuang Guiyang holds a Ph.D. in Economics. He is Research Fellow of the Institute for Urban and Environmental Studies, CASS; Doctoral Supervisor at the Graduate School of the University of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
