Antoine Ozanam was born in Rouen in 1970, feeding on comics and alternative music throughout his youth. After studying visual communications, he started his professional career designing movie posters, music videos, CD-ROMs, and websites. In 1999, he released his first book, Hotel Noir, a comic in which the characters are made of modeling clay. It wasn't until 2004 that he decided to devote himself to a career as a writer. From that point on, he has written steadily, with dozens upon dozens of popular titles to his name. His works have spanned a wide range of tones and genres, from true historical thrillers such as The Diary of Anne Frank and Princess Caraboo, to supernatural fantasy and action. He may be best known for creating the popular long-running series KLAW with artist Joel Jurion.
