Samir and Sara have nowhere to run. They've tried to run from the 'Butcher of Baghdad' only to get caught by the authorities in Turkey, turned in by the people they'd paid money to smuggle them across the border into Europe. Returned to Iraq they arrive in the Kurdish controlled north, to a wild and lawless place where the gun rules and ethnic Christians are tolerated, but not trusted.
